TAMMY
I have been working in the orthodontic field for approximately 22yrs. I have been working with Dr. Wise since 1992. The two “most” important highlights of my life outside of my home are: Most of the Wise/Jensen team have been together for quite some time. We have been able to learn so much from each other and grow as a great team- they are my 2nd family, and very dear to me! The 2nd is an addition to my current position as POA ( Personal Orthodontic Assistant ), the “SureSmile” Coordinator. My 2nd position involves working in the 3-D Digital World and the traditional orthodontic world, combining the two to help create the special “SureSmile” wires for our patients. These special wires are created when the Doctors review and digitally render a highly accurate 3-D model of each patient. A treatment plan is established with the SureSmile Treatment Planning software, and then the SureSmile robot bends a shape memory wire according to the Doctors prescription. My role in this process involves organization of patient’s files, exporting specific photos, helping with the review of digital models, and keeping the Doctors on a timely schedule with the complete process. It is a very exciting technology to me, and I look very forward to seeing each and every patient’s more enhanced results! As my new postion is very important, it does not take the place of my current and most important role at Wise and Stonebridge Orthodontics, my POA postion. My patients are very important to me, and I look very forward to forming a great new friendship and relationship with each and every one of them, existing and new!!!
I graduated from Prairie du Chien High School, a small school in Wisconsin. I went to Western Wisconsin Technical College right out of High School for the Dental Assisting Program, and graduated with honors in June of 1987. Most of my family are still in Wisconsin, but I try to get back as often as I can to visit! I have a 18yr old son (wow, how time flies), Tyler, who is very artistically talented. He has one more year at McKinney Boyd High School, then hopefully off to UNT for college! I am very fortunate to have such a great son, he has grown up to be a fine young man!
I enjoy cooking…A LOT, and being out doors planting flowers, going to the lake, or just hanging out with my boyfriend and friends! |
