I started my wonderful journey in orthodontics in 1989, after graduating from the Dental Assisting Program at Grayson County College.  Although I have only been with Dr. Wise and Jensen for a short time, I was with another orthodontic practice for twenty years.  My positions in the office have changed from an assistant, to front desk to Treatment Coordinator, what I’m presently doing and have been for the last ten years.

It is so rewarding to see someone who has been ashamed of their smile for whatever reason, start to see positive changes to their teeth.  Whether it’s an adult or a child, the reaction is still the same.  They turn into this confident person who is ready to take on the world!!  Patients don’t realize how soon they are going to see straight teeth.  The crowding, which is usually the issue to the patient, is always corrected first and then the bite is corrected.

I grew up in a small town north of McKinney.  I now live there with my husband and three kids.  My oldest daughter Chessney is eighteen, and just graduated from high school.  She is now attending classes at a local junior college, where she plans on taking care of her basics before transferring out to a university.  She’s an avid photographer with much promise in the future of taking her passion and turning it into reality.  My son Evan is fifteen and full of life.  He’s very athletic, loves to skateboard and trick ride on his bicycle.  I have always said he’s just like a cat and always lands on his feet.  My youngest daughter is Casey, who is ten.  She’s what the other two calls rotten, spoiled------you know the perks when you are the youngest!!  She’s my competitive one who loves all sports and is actually good at the ones she has tried.  When I’m not at work I love spending time with my family, especially outdoors. We love to four-wheel, hike and are all major lake bums.  On a personal note when I have time for myself, I enjoy landscaping and beautifying my surroundings.
