Why Choose Us?
We believe that choosing your orthodontist is so much more than what you read or hear in advertisements. We are part of our community and we serve those around us. Orthodontics is not a commodity that can be grabbed off of a shelf or ordered from the internet- it’s a service unlike any other you will ever experience. Our success in treating you or your family members will have life-changing effects on the recipients.
Our entire team has a strong sense of community involvement going back to 1992 when our practice first opened. Here is just a sampling of the incredible community service portfolio we have achieved.
Giving Back With Service
Wise Orthodontics is a proud supporter of the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Dr. Wise was co-founder and chair of the Rite to Smile Foundation. Each year, this group-with the North Texas Dental Society- organizes Give Kids a Smile for Collin County.
Dr. Wise has served as President of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce (1996-1997), North Texas Dental Society (2001) and the University of Texas Orthodontic Alumni Association (2003). He’s also very active with the Texas Association of Orthodontists (Board member) and the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists (Task Force for Sleep Disturbed Breathing).
Dr. Wise has served on the advisory committee for the Collin College Dental Hygiene School and he has been a guest lecturer for their students. His subject matter- Orthodontics of course!
Be Part of Our Smile Family
Our team each year provides mouth guards to our athletic teams so they can protect their smiles and prevent concussions as part of their athletic activities.
Look for Free Retainer Day each December! It feels good to give, and we want to keep those smiles looking great.
Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children
Dr. Wise has a strong connection to TSRHC- his wife works there! Carol is the Director of Basic Research at the hospital and has discovered several genes that make a difference to kids with scoliosis and arthritis to name a few.
Smiles Change Lives, Donated Orthodontic Services & Give Kids a Smile
Our team is providing pro bono orthodontic care to children in need in our community through these three programs. We work with local dentists with big hearts and caring souls to care for these kids who cannot get help any other way.
We have also sponsored countless sports teams, band performances, field trips into local schools, parades, newspaper and yearbooks. The list is long, but our commitment to our community has no bounds.
